YoungBoy Never Broke Again – Overdose

Review: Hailing from the great state of Louisiana, YoungBoy Never Broke Again writes a song with some fairly “traumatizing” lyrics. The album from where the song comes from clearly accounts for YoungBoy’s fast-tracked adulthood growing up on the streets of Baton Rouge.

YoungBoy pushes the fact that while he is a rapper, he’s no gansta, no killer and explains that until he’s dead he’s gonna be himself. The song clearly, as the album, tells us about the rules he grew up with as he grew up where he did. And he clearly pays strong attention to the horror of overdosing.

Not a big fan of either the song or the video. But I am simply one person and will let you all decide.
